Durga Puja

DURGA POOJA

Durga Puja is one of the most famous and significant festivals for Hindu. This festival is celebrated in September or October. This festival symbolizes Goddess Durga, who killed Mahishasura, which was a victory over evil. We wear new clothes and do pandal hopping with our family and friends to celebrate puja with joy.

Navaratri or Durga puja is praised to tribute the triumph of good over the evil of the devil that is Mahishasura. God Brahma, Shiva, and Vishnu asked Goddess Durga to kill the evil demon and free the world from all evil spirits. After many long fight periods, she finally killed that evil spirit on the tenth day, the day is called as Dussehra. Navaratri’s genuine significance is the nine days and nights of a fight among the goddess and the devil. Durga Puja draws in an enormous crowd of devotees and visitors, including outside visitors at one spot.
